LDS Temple Wedding
Dylan and Allyson were absolutely a dream to work with! I met this beautiful couple for the first time at a small farm in rural Virginia where Dylan was preparing for a first look with Allyson. He was so excited! I went in and met Allyson, who is one of the most fun and bubbly people ever, and was taken away by her beautiful wedding dress - she is as close to a real-life Disney princess as I've ever met, and her dress looked just like it was made for one of those epic Disney dance scenes. The first look was absolutely beautiful and we finished with some portraits around the farm.
Dylan and Allyson were married at the LDS Temple in Kensington, MD. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they were sealed for time and all eternity in one of the most sacred places on earth. The grounds were breathtaking and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. After family formals and a few more portraits, we traveled to Regency at Haymarket in Virginia for the reception.
At the reception venue, Dylan and Allyson performed a ring exchange and shared beautiful vows with each other. I may or may not have teared up a little - it was so sweet to see these two young people express so much love and be willing to sacrifice so much for each other! Instead of a traditional cake, they had pie in honor of the day they met - March 14th, or pi day. I loved meeting all of their friends and family and wish them the best of luck as they adventure into this new life phase together!
